Dear Ms. Hiznay:
On behalf of the County Board, thank you for submitting a request to be included in the schedule of 2008 Walking Town Meetings (WTM). We appreciate your interest in participating in this process.
Although the WTM Selection Committee did not select your civic association for inclusion in the 2008 schedule, please know that we plan to continue to schedule Walking Town Meetings each year, with the goal of eventually touring the neighborhoods of all interested civic associations. With that in mind, we encourage you to apply for consideration for inclusion in the 2009 WTM schedule. We also want to stress that while WTMs are one venue for addressing your neighborhood’s concerns and showcasing your neighborhood, the County Board, the County Manager, and his staff are also available to speak with you as needed.
